A New Year

Dress to Impress Sale Thank You!

Many thanks for your donations! We really appreciate the generous Roosevelt families, staff and friends who donated clothing & accessories for our recent Dress To Impress Sale. This fundraiser helped raise money towards the Class of 2014 graduation activities, and added to the clothing resources of Roosevelt Drama, as well as several charities. Thanks also to the volunteers who helped us set-up, staff and clean-up after the sale. Lastly thanks to our shoppers too – we hope you enjoy your bargain purchases!
Senior Awards Night Volunteer Lead Needed

Senior Awards Night is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th. It is a Roosevelt tradition for junior parents to work with Dr. Alerton to help make the evening special with decorations and refreshments. (See description below.) There is already a list of willing volunteers to help but we are looking for a junior parent coordinator. Last year’s parent coordinator is available to offer advice and a resource file, and there is some money available from the PTSA to support the event. If you would like to help coordinate this event, please contact Dr. Alerton ASAP at Thank you!

Senior Awards Night Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities Coordinate simple refreshments and decorations in the Roosevelt Commons for Senior Awards Night. Work with Dr. Alerton and the Counseling office to confirm date, venue, tables, other facility needs. Work with other parent volunteers to purchase and/or secure donations of food and beverages, supplies, and floral decorations for the event. Volunteers set up, serve, take down, and clean up on the evening of the event.

Time Commitment Event is on Wednesday, May 29th and requires 8-10 hours for coordination and purchasing time during April or May. Set up, serving and clean up on May 29th takes about 3-4 hours.
