ASR

ASR is a year-round leadership course in which elected student officers and appointed officials meet to plan and organize various school events including Roughrider Day, Homecoming, Prom, fundraisers and other school wide activities. The purpose of the class is to provide academic leadership skills and the time and resources to plan, implement and evaluate these events and activities.

Class membership consists of the ASR Elected Executive Board members, senior, junior and sophomore elected class officers and distinguished appointed officers. Elections occur once a year in the spring and are open to the entire student body. Freshman elections are held in the fall of the school year. The ASR serves as a bridge between the faculty and student body by representing the best interests of the students at teacher and parent meetings.

Ms. Boswell, the new activity coordinator, serves as the advisor of the class and has set lofty goals for the future success of the student government.
