IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE INFORMATION FOR SECOND SEMESTER - Recognizing that students have had a lot of opportunity to consider second semester schedule changes prior to the start of the semester, the District policy requires that all changes for second semester be completed by end of school on 2/4/08. Counselors are continuing to meet with students about second semester schedules through 1/25/08, the last day of first semester. On Tuesday 1/29 and Wednesday 1/31, students must go to all classes in which they are scheduled. Those first two days of the semester, counselors will only see students who still have holes in their schedules. Beginning after school on Wednesday 1/30, students may come in and make appointments for schedule changes for 1/31, 2/1 and 2/4. As of 2/5/08, no classes can be dropped unless there are very extenuating circumstances, and the class dropped will be noted on the student's transcript with a "w" (withdrawal). Your counselor can answer any questions you have about these deadlines.
