Upward Bound Join Upward Bound! Now accepting applications from eligible 9th, 10th and 11th graders. Priority goes to all applicants who submit paperwork by Thursday, Oct. 13th. The Scholarship Season has begins today: Scholarship Bulletin Number 1 now online. This issue features scholarship and financial aid information contact information and websites for the schools in WA state. The Scholarship Bulletin will customarily come out every two weeks until April/May, depending on if there are scholarships coming to the building then. In addition the Scholarship website suggests a systematic method to handle financial aid and scholarships. Sand Point Family Housing located in Magnuson Park is looking for volunteers to help with tutoring for formerly homeless children. High School volunteers are needed weekdays from 3:30 -5:30. Dates are flexible to your schedule. This is a great and rewarding way to earn your Roosevelt service hours. If interested please email sandpointtutoring@yahoo.com
