Donate to the RHS No-Bake Bake Sale
The RHS PTSA "No-Bake" Bake Sale is our only annual, school-wide fundraiser. Even though it has a lighthearted name, we are faced with the serious goal of keeping state and school district budget cuts from eliminating staff at RHS for the 2011 - 2012 school year.
The Seattle School District estimates a 32 million dollar shortfall, but that could worsen once the legislature meets and works out a new budget.
The money raised from the RHS "No Bake" Bake Sale allows our administration to sustain programs and staffing levels that would otherwise be cut due to district budget reductions.
Our Goal for 2011: 500 Families Raising $100,000
Last year we raised $75,000 with 330 families donating (and matching grants from 10 corporations).
This year we hope to have 500 families donate to the "No Bake" Bake Sale so we can reach our goal of raising $100,000 or more. Your generous donations will help sustain the great programs at Roosevelt High School. Individual contributions last year ranged from $25 - $5,000.
