We encourage all parents and guardians to attend. (Bonus! Looking for an easy way to help? Bring in a box of Kleenex and/or ream of copy paper and drop them off outside the Gym when you come on Thursday – our staff thanks you!)

NUTS AND BOLTS OF COLLEGE APPLICATIONS FOR SENIORS On Tuesday 10/4 counselors are visiting all American Government classes to talk about the nuts and bolts of college applications, and will hand out a summary of what students need to know about submitting college applications, getting letters of recommendations and submitting ACT or SAT test scores. If you are not in American Government at Roosevelt first semester, we want to make sure you still get this practical, time sensitive and important information. Wendy Krakauer, Head Counselor, will be in the Career Center during both lunches on Tuesday 10/4 to meet with all interested seniors who do not get the benefit of a classroom visit so that you too will be on top of applying to four year colleges.
