Testing for RHS Students
There are many types of testing your student may encounter at RHS. The information below is organized into the following groups:

Academic Intervention
State HSPE (High School Proficiency Exam) Information
HSPE Reading and Writing results will be back by the end of May/June.

District MAP (Measure of Academic Progress)
MAP dates for the 2011 - 2012 academic year:
Spring MAP testing
• Math MAP testing - April 30th - May 3rd
• Reading MAP testing - May 21st - May 25th
DAPE (Developmentally Appropriate Proficiency Exam)
DAPE results will be back by the end of May/June.
AP Testing
AP Test Registration Deadline - March 15
The deadline to register is March 15th – registration forms are available from your AP teacher or in the counseling office. You only need ONE form to register for one or multiple AP tests. The cost is $87.00 per test or $15.00 per test if eligible for free/reduced lunch or meet other state criteria. Please see your RHS counselor in advance of registering if you are seeking the fee reduction. Registration will take place before school in the Book Room March 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th or in the Career Center during lunches March 8th, 9th & 12th - 15th.
AP Test Calendar - 2012
The Collegeboard organization sets dates for and conducts all AP Tests. For complete information about AP testing, go to www.collegeboard.com. Be sure to check the Collegeboard site for the most current information.
In spring, Collegeboard offers two weeks of AP testing.

End of Course Exams
State End of Course Math Exams
• Students in the class of 2012 must either pass the Math HSPE, Math EOC or earn 2.0 credits of math after 10th grade.
• Students in the class of 2013 and 2014 must pass one EOC in either Algebra or Geometry.
• Students in the class of 2015 must pass both Algebra and Geometry EOC.
* If students have passed one or both EOC in middle school, that will count towards EOC graduation requirements.
EOC Make-up Exam on June 5th
Algebra End of Course Exam will be given on June 12, 13 and 14 in Math classes.
Geometry End of Course Exam will be given on June 12, 13 and 14 in Math classes.

State End of Course Science Exam
• Students in the class of 2014 will take the Biology End of Course exam.
• Students in the class of 2015 will need to pass the Biology End of Course exam as a graduation requirement.
Biology End of Course Exam will be given on June 5th at 8:00 a.m. in the Theatre.
